The Texas Outpatient & Infusion Center Office of Business Development manages media inquiries for all of Texas Outpatient & Infusion Center including every patient, department, physician office/building, and grounds within the health system.
Media Policies and Procedures
The Texas Outpatient & Infusion Center Office of Business Development handles public relations and corporate communications. Media inquiries can be sent to info@comanchecmc.com.
Media Requests for Interview/Filming
To ensure the confidentiality of our patients, members of the media must be accompanied by a member of Texas Outpatient & Infusion Center Office of Business Development or a designated representative of the health system while on the property of any Texas Outpatient & Infusion Center facility.
- Advance notice and permission are required for all media interviews or photographs involving Texas Outpatient & Infusion Center patients, patient families, administrators, physicians, employees, and volunteers. These requests must be cleared through and set up with the Office of Business Development.
- All patients or legal guardians must sign a consent form provided by Texas Outpatient & Infusion Center in advance of any photos or videos to be taken.
- If an interview/photo/video has been set up directly with a patient’s family and is to be conducted on Texas Outpatient & Infusion Center property, all procedures above must be followed.
Any member of the media who enters a Texas Outpatient & Infusion Center property without clearance within the context of conducting a story will be asked to leave the campus until proper clearance is received through Comanche County Medical Center Office of Business Development.
- Access to any area of any Texas Outpatient & Infusion Center property may be limited or denied at the discretion of a patient’s healthcare team and/or by Texas Outpatient & Infusion Center.
Mass Casualty Events
In the case of a mass casualty event within the community, media must follow National, Regional or Local Incident Command. Media will not be permitted in the hospital, emergency room or patient care areas In a large mass casualty event, media information may be centralized through Comanche County Emergency Management.
Visiting Groups and Media Requests
If you are a member of a community organization that has scheduled a visit to a Texas Outpatient & Infusion Center facility, please be aware that photographs, videos, or audio recordings may not be taken of any patients, family members, or hospital staff without approved prior consent.
All press releases and/or media invitations for a planned hospital visit must be submitted to Comanche County Medical Center Office of Business Development for approval at least two weeks before a scheduled visit. If approved, all media policies and procedures must still be followed in these instances.
